At Fisher Farms greenhouse we offer a wide variety of plants including vegetable seedlings, Herbs, Bedding flowers, Pot rooted Strawberries and Hanging Baskets and many other plants.

Here at Fisher Farms greenhouse, we take pride in knowing that all of our seeds are hand planted. 

We also know that it takes a good growing media to grow a strong, healthy plant. That's why we add natural  mineral micronutrients to our growing media that we mix here at Fisher Farms. Once seed germination begins and until it reaches transplant size stage, it has had all the minerals that's required for a healthy plant. 

Some companies use a growing media that has very low nutrients and used only for a foundation for roots to grow in. Once the seed germinates within a few days, they start a scheduled irrigation fertilization. This gives the seedling the nutrients it needs to grow. After the irrigation fertilization stops, within a few days the seedling will use up all the nutrients in its roots and will show signs of stress.

Here at Fisher Farms, we Don't use any plant growth regulators (PGR's) on any of our vegetable plants. To save cost and increase sales, a lot of companies use plant growth regulators. In return, they get a much darker green color appearance in the plants to increase sales, a shorter plant means less water and fertilization cost and more plants that can be shipped per truck
